PAYMENT PILOT TEST COMING TO DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE

Read Time:42 Second

Starting February 12, 2018 Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House will be rolling out a new pilot program for cash-less transactions. Purchase and services at this resort will accept payment via MagicBand, credit card, debit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards redemption Cards and such pay systems as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Goggle Pay.Cash will still be used in some capacities: tips will still be accepted in cash and guests can make cash deposits at the front desk to activate hotel charging privileges. How they will be handling transactions for non Magic Band guest that make cash deposits at front desk has not been released, but I am interested in hear the logistics on returning unused cash deposits to guest at end of visit, sounds more like a logistic nightmare and I look forward to seeing work around.
